[RANKINGS] Top 5 Hair Colors: Girls 2013

Every comeback artists change their look and often times their hair colors are the first thing that not only changes but indicates a comeback! These hair colors tend to be a little on the crazy side. Normal people would definitely have a hard time pulling off some of the colors you see in kpop. However, some hair colors are just so outrageous to the point of silliness. But these are my top 5 favorites I've seen on some of the ladies of kpop from the year 2013.

5. Sera's Black

I believe Ryu Sera of Nine Muses's hair is currently black and although its not as crazy as the rest of the colors on the list, its a very beautiful black and she rocks it very well. It frames her pretty face just right. It almost gives her a very mysterious feel and definitely gives her a sexy feel.

4. Gayoon's Pink for Ceci

Gayoon dyed her hair pink for a photoshoot for Ceci and I almost cried of joy. This pink looks so very good on her and I wished she would keep it. Its a very nice soft pink and it has a very lovely effect on her. I hope to see her turn pink again soon!

3. Hyuna's Dirty Blonde

I was SO happy to see Hyuna go back to blonde for the second Trouble Maker album! The last time I remember her being blonde was during the 'I My Me Mine' promotions and everyone and their mom wanted her to be blonde forever including me. However, this time she is also rocking short hair with her sexy dirty blonde and the length of her hair is really nice on her. I'm so in love with everything about her hair right now and I just hope she keeps it for a while.
2. Nari's Lavender/Green Hair

Nari is a current member of rookie girl group Wassup and although their songs are terrible her hair is fucking fantastic. During their first single her hair was in between a blonde and this lavender and I think she's one of the few people I've liked with this color. Its one of my favorite colors and it just overall looks good on her head. And her being so very sexy and awesome with this hair just helps her stand out even more. She also looks great in her new hair color which is a light greenish color. Maybe this girl just looks good in any damn color.

1. Krystal's Fire Red Hair

Krystal Jung is a current member of F(x) and for their latest comeback this year she dyed her a bright fire red. She takes my number one spot because I automatically fell in with the color upon sight. Not many people can pull this intense red off but it looks beautiful on her. Even though I can't really stand her most of the time she still looks like a fire goddess with this hair.

Thanks for reading! Leave me a comment and let me know what was your favorite hair color from this year or any year actually.

My Youtube Channel!!

Hey guys!
I haven't written on this blog in ages! One of the reasons being that I started a new youtube channel! WOOOO! Right now there isn't much on it because a lot has been going on in my life and I had to buy a new charger for my spiffy camera. HOWEVER, once I receive my charger I will pick two days out of the week and I will update my channel every week with two new videos.

Right now there is a little bit of my noob videos touching on some kpop topics. I haven't been super into kpop in a while but I have been keeping up to date with the big stuff. Hopefully these videos will get me back into the kpop/k-hip hop groove a little. But all the videos will definitely not always be about kpop. Just like 90% of them haha!

Here is the link to my channel!

Please visit and check out my videos! Leaves comments! Even let me know what you guys would like to see on my channel in the future! Like what topics you would like me to talk about and stuffsss.

Seeya soon!!

[FRESH FACES] Rookie Edition: Rookies to Look Out For

Rookies to Look Out For

Every year in kpop we get an onslaught of incoming rookie groups and frankly its so overwhelming and the industry is so saturated that I've started to completely ignore all rookie groups. Why? Because its just to much and I don't have the attention span.

However, there are a few that have so how managed to be so good that they've caught my eye! Here is a list of my picks for rookie groups to look out for. Especially with the end of the year rookie award up for grabs.

If you have not checked these guys out, you're missing out on A LOT. These little cuties managed to catch my attention and I don't even remember how. One day I just decided to check them out for no apparent reason and fell in with them from the first teaser.

These guys have a very strong sense of character and their music is the highest quality.

The thing that I love most of all about Bangtan Boys is that unlike most "Hip Hop" groups, these guys are not just two rappers in a group full of singers/dancers but each and every one of them could rap if they need to and they're quite good. They look and sound like a true "Hip Hop" group.

These guys are my no.1 pick best rookies of the year so far.

I know. I sound crazy. But I LOVE these girls and their debut song "Pit Pat". Its catchy, its fun, and its sexy while still managing to be cute. Pit Pat is just one of those kpop songs where its good in that catchy bubblegum pop kind of way and you can't stop listening to it. Besides, they have an ass dance. Sorry.

Their leader Hyeyeon and lead singer U.ji have beautiful voices that I hope they will be put to good use in their future comebacks. I can't wait to see what their future holds!

These girls are STELLAR! I fell in love with them and their song at first listen. Their vocal power is absolutely amazing and they show it off quite well on the first single. Their lead singer Sojung has one of the most unique and beautiful voices I've ever heard in kpop. I could listen to her for hours.

Their debut Music Video was quite fun to watch and very interesting. And if you haven't seen these ladies perform live I suggest you check it out! Its well worth your time.

If Ladies Code plays their cards right, I think they could the next big thing in kpop especially when factoring in their talent. But then again since when has talent ever factored in kpop?

I know they have a silly name but I promise you these guys are worth a listen. They are a vocal-hip hop group and they are REALLY talented.

This is one of those groups where they will probably never get the recognition they deserve. They will always fly under the radar.

However, its always those groups who
usually hold the most talent of course. They debuted with a song called "예쁘다" a.k.a. "Pretty" and the song is a beautiful piece of work.

Let me know about your favorite rookies so far this year below
:)
And also click the name of these groups to go to their debut music videos.

[WOOO] I'm Back!

I don't know if anyone out there cares but I'm back! I have neglected this lovely blog of mine for long enough. I had to abandon ship because
1. College takes over your life
and
2. I was just really lazy and didn't feel like writing more on top of my onslaught of essays.

However, I am finally back to blogging and giving my unwanted opinions on this lovely universe that we call kpop and BOY DO I HAVE A LOT TO SAY ABOUT RECENT EVENTS.

I will try to blog AT LEAST once a week this time and if I don't, you guys can punish me.

But anyways, I want to make this blog more interactive with my readers because apparently I do have many (I know, SHOCKING). I want to start putting up polls for you guys and start doing some giveaways to reward you for putting up with me and actually reading this stuff! Who would have thought ey?

Also I want to do something crazy. I want to start video logging as in yes, YOUTUBING. I want to give you guys more exciting content. So please look forward to it!

Check out my returning blog post!

[RANKINGS] Top 10 Songs of 2012 (un-promoted)

We just love title tracks don't we? However, it's usually the songs on the albums that go undiscovered that are the most amazing. Most of the time, songs on the actual album are better than the title tracks themselves. So here is my Top 10 Songs of 2012 that were un-promoted a.k.a from the album. These are the songs you should DEFINITELY listen to if you haven't already.

8. Block B - Romantically
(Block B's entire is album is amazing. Listen.)
5. Geeks - Hold It Down

I only just recently discovered this song about 2 weeks before the end of this year and I had to put it on the list. That's how good it is. I never really noticed Geeks. The first I had ever listened to them was "Officially Missing You" featuring Soyu. Which is also AMAZING by the way. But after hearing that song, I wanted more from Geeks. And this song really become one of my favorites of the year. I still can't stop playing this song.
This is definitely my new favorite rap duo. Their both excellent rappers and their styles match VERY well together. Geeks and this song will keep you wanting more hhnngg. Pssstt and they're kinda cute huhu..

4. Ailee ft. Swings - My Love

This song I played probably a bazillion times. This is hands down my favorite song from Ailee's arsenal. Her voice is the most amazing here of all the tracks I've heard from her (which is all of them). The song features the uber awesome rapper Swings. Ailee's soulful voice and Swings beautiful flow work wonders in this song. It's a must-listen. In fact just listen to her entire album.

3. Jay Park - Do What We Do

-sigh- I had to. I'm sorry. When I first heard this song...I already knew it was going high up this list. Not only because it's sexy as fuck but because it's actually a good damn song! It's nice and slow but not too slow. It's the first time Jay has expressed his sexual desires in English. I really needed this song in my life. I have non-kpopper friends totally hooked on this song. That right there just explains how good it is.

He wants to make it last for hours! GETS ME EVERY TIME!

2. Zico - No Limit

You already know! :3 Ok I'm not just putting this song up here cause Zico is my ultimate bias (and Jay lawl). I'm putting this song up here because it's freaking amazing. I have to say I DID like most of the songs on Zico's mixtape but only Sam and No Limit REALLY took me away. No Limit is fast paced and there is no way in the world you can't get ghetto listening to this. It exudes bad-ass. It's Zico.

The beat on this song is so ridiculous next to the song coming up on the number one spot, this has to be one  of the most head banging songs this year. Not mention Zico just rips through the beat with his amazingly solids lyrics. Ugh just too good.

1. GD, Tablo, Dok2 - Light It Up

Yes, people who know me, I know what you're thinking. "You don't even like GD...Da fuq." Yup. I don't care for GD too much or I didn't until I listened to this song! This is the song that made me semi-like GD (I still think he's a bit overrated as a "rapper") When I first heard the song, I said "this is by far the best song I've heard this year hands down." And it still is. Which is why I'm making this my No.1 best song of not only the unpromoted songs but of the YEAR!

The beat is absolutely amazing and undeniable. To have Tablo and Dok2 on ONE songs is just mind-blowing to me. The flow...My god the flow skills are to DIE for. If you haven't listened to this song especially as a k-hip hop fan, I promise you this is a MUST listen. Props to GD cause this songs is legit.

[RANKINGS]Top 10 Songs of 2012 (Promoted)

This year in kpop was absolutely amazing. I didn't think any year would top 2008 however, I think 2012 came pretty close if not topping the year 2008 with it's stunning releases! Here's my Top 10 2012 releases that were promoted! And by promoted I mean, title tracks, basically.

I'm not really fond of title tracks to be quite honest, so when I do un-promoted (songs from off the albums) expect a better bang. Those are the songs that you need to listen to haha. Most of these you've probably already heard and if you haven't go listen to them!!

3. Ga In - Bloom

The video for this song is magical and the song itself is magical. This song is definitely better than her last and her last was really good. It's such a simple melody and that's what makes it SO good. Ga In's voice is one of my favorites because it's very unique. Her voice works wonders in this song~~

2. Lee Hi - 1 2 3 4
I think this song is the most recent song on my list? No?

I fell in love with this song on the FIRST listen. Well not just the song but Lee Hayi period...She's so cute and sassy and she brings that sass to this song. Her voice of course is absolutely amazing. I'm sure you've heard. Some people say the song is nothing special but I highly disagree! I like my songs a bit simple so the voices can shine and that's exactly what this song does for her. When I listen to this song I feel really badass..I dunno why.

1. SPICA - Painkiller

The best release from SPICA period. I can't believe this song is from a rookie group. It's incredible beautiful and soulful. If you haven't listened to this song you're clearly not alive. I swore when this song released it would be my number one for the year and that nothing could top it! These girls and their voices give me goosebumps T^T
Hearing this song performed live is even more amazing...If that's even possible.
Painkiller is my number one for this year in title tracks. Lee Hi was actually my original number one but I just couldn't deny this song after listening to it one more time.

Feel like I missed anything? What was your favorites this year? Let me know below?
